Tanding

One match consists of 3 rounds x 2 minutes and a 1 minute break.

A jury (wasit jury) of 5 side-referees mark the points while one field-referee is leading the match on the field. Points are awarded for (combinations of) kicks (2p), punches (1p) and takedowns (3p). Typical techniques: sweeps (sapu) and scissors (gunting). Players have to pay attention to their moves and patterns during their performance. Preferably showing a fluent mix of moves and explosive attacks while guarding a solid defense.
